Open to all. No experience needed. Just come as you are.

Google Tools for Everyday Life

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Create and edit documents (resumes, letters, forms)

  • Use spreadsheets for budgeting, scheduling, or tracking tasks

  • Organize appointments and reminders with Google Calendar

  • Accessible to all experience levels. No prior tech experience required.

We offer this training as a 2-part, in-person, virtual or hybrid series hosted in community spaces with internet access.

Sessions will include practice time, live support, and take-home guides in plain language.

Participants will leave with tools they can use for benefits paperwork, job prep, and personal planning.

Resumes that Reflect Real Life

This workshop helps participants build resumes that capture real skills—whether gained through caregiving, volunteering, side gigs, or community work.

Participants will:

  • Learn how to describe experience in job-ready language

  • Get a plain-language resume template

  • Leave with a working draft and clear next steps

Because all work has value—and everyone deserves to be seen.

Single-session group workshop with optional follow-up for 1:1 resume coaching. Training can be offered on-site or virtually, with support for participants who need help typing or accessing templates.

Designed to affirm people’s real contributions and support readiness to apply for service-creditable work.

Interview Skills Lab

This interactive training helps participants get ready for interviews—with practice tailored to real-life situations.

We offer:

  • Roleplay interviews (in-person, phone, Zoom)

  • Feedback on tone, answers, and presentation

  • Tips for managing nerves and telling your story with confidence

  • No pressure. Just practice—with people who care.

We are offering this as a recurring lab-style session where participants can drop in, try out interviews, and get direct, supportive feedback. These sessions are designed to reduce fear and build familiarity.

Participants will also have the option to receive 1-1 support.
