This hands-on workshop introduces participants to Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
Participants will learn how to:
Create and edit documents (resumes, letters, forms)
Use spreadsheets for budgeting, scheduling, or tracking tasks
Organize appointments and reminders with Google Calendar
Accessible to all experience levels. No prior tech experience required.
We offer this training as a 2-part, in-person, virtual or hybrid series hosted in community spaces with internet access.
Sessions will include practice time, live support, and take-home guides in plain language.
Participants will leave with tools they can use for benefits paperwork, job prep, and personal planning.
This workshop helps participants build resumes that capture real skills—whether gained through caregiving, volunteering, side gigs, or community work.
Participants will:
Learn how to describe experience in job-ready language
Get a plain-language resume template
Leave with a working draft and clear next steps

Single-session group workshop with optional follow-up for 1:1 resume coaching. Training can be offered on-site or virtually, with support for participants who need help typing or accessing templates.

This interactive training helps participants get ready for interviews—with practice tailored to real-life situations.
We offer:

Tips for managing nerves and telling your story with confidence

We are offering this as a recurring lab-style session where participants can drop in, try out interviews, and get direct, supportive feedback. These sessions are designed to reduce fear and build familiarity.
Participants will also have the option to receive 1-1 support.

These workshops are open to all, especially folks working to meet Medicaid or SNAP work requirements. No job experience needed—just bring yourself.

Yes! Once you finish a class (participation required), we’ll automatically send you a Completion Certificate via email. You can share this with your caseworker for work hours credit.
You can make changes by replying to the confirmation email or texting “RESCHEDULE” or “CANCEL.” Please let us know at least 24 hours ahead so we can offer your seat to someone else.

To protect privacy and create a safe space for practice, these sessions aren’t recorded. But we do provide easy step-by-step guides and can offer 1:1 help afterward if you’d like.
